Industry meeting of PCB manufacturers

At the end of January, the industry meeting of PCB manufacturers was held at the production site of Rezonit in the village Zubovo with the participation of V.V. Shpak, the Director of the Department of Radioelectronic Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. 

Vasily Viktorovich identified the PCB production as an important connecting technological sector in the electronics industry. The general position of the industry community was presented to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia - the participants of the meeting agreed on the assessment of the market and production capabilities of Russian companies prepared by the Electronics Developers and Manufacturers Association. During the meeting, the largest Russian PCB manufacturers spoke about the investment projects currently being implemented and planned. 

Andrew Kucheryavy, CEO of Rezonit, within the presentation of the investment plans has talked not only about the project of a new plant in the Special Economic Zone in Alabushevo, where the first products release is scheduled for 2022, but has also presented the modernization project of production capacities in Zubovo for production of printed circuit boards of 7 accuracy class. The launch of new shops at the end of the year means reaching a new technological level in both production and assembly of PCBs. The need for modernization is primarily caused by the complexity of the products made by means of the localization program.

The participants agreed to submit comprehensive proposals on state support measures to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The task of ensuring technological independence was identified as a priority during the meeting, which allows the industry to count on regulatory and financial support from the state.
